Sidewalk Syndrome was formed in late 2004 when Jay Luft and Mikey Forster decided they wanted to follow their dreams of breaking the mould and changing the face of music forever.
Originally with Jay singing and Mikey on lead guitar, the band had trouble getting members, and slowly drifted apart. Jay and Mikey found it hard to keep the dream alive, and also with other bands to focus on, they put Sidewalk Syndrome on the shelf.
But that was then.
In June 2006, Jay and Mikey reunited and enlisted Pete Bushnell as their voaclist. With Jay taking rhythm guitar, Mikey continuing on Lead and the new boy taking point, Sidewalk Syndrome returned.

With a new mentality and a new found creative passion, Sidewalk started out on an experience that they haven't looked back on since.
In November of 2006, Mikey decided he was to leave the band to concentrate on his other commitments. It was decided that this move was for the best and Mikey left Sidewalk Syndrome for another local band. We still remain in touch and wish him all the best. =]
Carrying on where they left off writing new songs, it wasn't long until Sidewalk Syndrome got talking about a new member.
Matty Longmore became the band's newest member and has become an even greater friend since joining.
Coming out with new stuff almost every week, us three guys are going through the most creative period of our lives to date,
And it keeps getting better, and better.
Here to change the way people think about music, we want Sidewalk Syndrome to be like nothing you've ever heard before
and we want to make a difference.
Writing material from a new perspective on life's ups and downs and endless emotions,
