I then began to run, I ran and I ran and I did not stop until I had finished.Its not a miracle that I ever finished, its a miracle I ever had the courage to start.I believe that frustration is the first step towards improvement. I have no incentive to improve if I’m content with what I can do and if I’m completely satisfied with my pace, distance and form as a runner. It’s only when I face frustration and use it to fuel my dedication that I feel myself moving forwards.In the words of my old coach (you know who you are)"Second place is not a defeat. It is a stimulation to get better. It makes you even more determined.”For those of you behind me in second place - take heed.I am blonde, I am a woman and I am different in a very unique way and that is excellent by me.I have developed intuition, intelligence and femininity and, used properly, that combination easily jumbles the brain of any person I've ever met.I will always strive for something better than I have. The grass may not be greener on the other side but at least I'll be sitting in a different park and change is always a good thing.Never take the easy route in life, if its a challenge then it is something definitely worth doing.Always ask questions,listen to the answers,be with people who make you smile and be someone who makes other people smile.
