After 10 years of bars, private parties, radio station promotional gigs, a self titled CD, that received radio airplay in Charlotte, North Carolina, a few successful Battle of the Bands contests in both North & South Carolina, a move to Pa. forced us to start from scratch. Night Watcher is an all original ROCK band co-founded by female lead vocalist/lead guitarist, Jeannette Charlier, Keyboard player Michael Charlier, Bassist Gene "Gunner" Cartee & Drummer Jimmy Ritenour.

After years of multiple line-up changes, and various styles of rock, the final and most solidified version of the band went to the studio to record what is now the first and currently the only CD by the band available. A period of turmoil reached the band, as well as some of the internal relationships. All members became stressed and overwhelmed at times, which led to the separation of Michael and Jeannette. Soon after this occured, a fatal car accident claimed the life of original keyboard player & husband of Jeannette, Michael Charlier. The band tried to move forward as a 3 piece. But was never really able to reach the same level they once had as a four piece. Eventually that line up too, came to an end, and Jeannette & Jimmy relocated to Pennsylvania.

After a 2 year hiatus, they decided it was time to try and get the ball rolling again. New material was written, and recorded. An endless number of new members were considered, and eventually, after only one meeting, they were joined with another "couple" in the music business. Guitarist Brian Bolger and Bass player, Rhonda Barker quickly filled some of the empty spaces. Now with the 1st solid line up since 2003, the band Night Watcher is once again, headed to the bars, clubs, & private parties, only this time their originally recorded material will be available online at most major retailers. Including iTunes, RealRhapsody, Napster, eMusic and AmazonMp3. The new version includes 4 additional bonus tracks recorded after the relocation took place. As well as a very successfully visited MySpace page. Which is maintained, on a regular basis, by the band members themselves.

While the sound is not quite the same without the keyboards, the search continues to find the right person to fill that very missed and meaningful position within the band.

We have just gotten a hold of this full length version of Hit Me, so we threw it on the page. Keep in mind we are not dealing with high end, HD recording equipment here, so the picture/audio are not the greatest.

Now with the current line up in place, we anticipate an all new, original CD being available in 2008-2009, which will prove to be a very strong and viable phase of the Night Watcher legacy. Continue to stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
