.. Gaynor O'Flynn is an award winning musician, artist and film maker.
Gaynor started her career on the revolutionary music show The Tube. The greatest and the good passed through the Tube's legendary doors including Miles Davis, Annie Lennox, Sting and Paul McCartney. Her directorial debut was the first film ever to be shown on MTV Europe. She directed for Granada with Factory legend Anthony H. Wilson, on US show Entertainment Tonite, concerts from Wembley to G Mex and promos for U2... after a stint directing Lonely Planet she ended up in the Himalayas, worked for the Dalai Lama and found her heart, mind and voice....
She returned to the UK playing at venues as diverse as Glastonbury Festival and The Royal Geographical Society performing with Ninja Tune's Sounds From The Ground. In 2002 her first solo tour of 6 major UK cities established her as a solo artist in her own right... In 2003 she won a Women In Music Award, started the beinghuman club nights and performed extensively on the festival circuit from Glastonbury to The Larmer Tree..
In 2004 Gaynor created a 5 day beinghuman festival working with many world class artists including Temple Of Sound & double Grammy nominated 1 Giant Leap ... she produced Senegalese kora maestro Sadio Cissokho's debut album and rewrote Lee Scratch Perry's classic track War In a Babylon... In 2006 she won an Arts Council Award and was mentored by Rob Bozas, who runs Peter Gabriel's publishing companies. In 2007 she released her first CD called who am i? and played 22 stages at Glastonbury Festival appearing on the BBC. She is currently creating the beinghuman warehouse and studio in Frome, Somerset and working with Rob & Realworld on a major music and film project called beinghuman on the road. Gaynor is traveling through Green Spain to meet, film, interview and collaborate with her musical heroes on her next album. She will be traveling, writing music, filming, painting, creating art installations, blogging and webcasting all summer. The journeys ends with a concert in the main square of Santiago De Compostela, Galicia, Spain.

Gaynor plays with world class musicians who also play with Courtney Pine, Massive Attack, BJork, Annie Lennox, KT Tunstall... Her live band consists of bass, guitar, piano and rhodes. Gaynor has also worked with many world musicians. She produced the debut album of Senegal's master kora player and vocalist Sadio Cissokho. He also plays with her live when in the UK. Afro-Celt Sound System's Johnny Kalsi asked her to write for him and Gaynor rewrote the classic Lee Scratch Perry track "War In A Babylon" as a campaigning track for Tibet.
