About Me

I like piano bars,-- but that is just not my kind of music! I wanna' rock! Now that the sound of midi insturments has improved dramaticaly along with the software, I'm out to change the WORLD!! (What Ever!). No, I just want to have some fun and play a little music while I still can. Anyway, here are some things about my musical background. I will always remember waking up on Saturday and Sunday mornings listening to my Mom's stereo, (new stuff in 1960). She had a record collection, that's right 33 & 1/3, LP, vinyl disks. Everything from The Big Bands to Harry Nilsson's "A Little Touch Of Schemilsson In The Night". It was mine untill she heard it. I started playing the piano at an early age. I learned by watching and listening to my sister practice. (LOL). Then, listening to records, I began to play along. I learned to play guitar when a good friend of mine showed me three chords, E, A, and D, on his Silver Tone electric, you know the one, the amplifier was built into the case, how cool! Guess which song THAT was! If you can, I'll buy you a beer the next time I see you. Really! Then, I taught myself to play the bass, on a Silver Tone. I sure wish I still had that one. The rest is history. I've been playing around Indy for a long time in several bands. Fine Water, Rat Brothers, Mazzard, Racoon Hollow, Denny and the Deuce Coups, Vertigo Fetish, Vital Spot, Just In Time, Backseat Memories, The Stepchildren, Dyrrj, and The Plan, one of my favorites 'cause we didn't have a plan. The Clubs, too many to list. But my best memories were with Vital Spot at, The Sports Bar, down town Indy. Simerill's in Terre Haute IN. C.T. Pepper's in Broadripple, Bogie's which is now Pepper's South and World Mardi Gras. And with The Stepchildren, Clancey's, The Point After, and John Wayne's in Beech Grove IN. Oh Yea, I played The Sherwood Country Club when I was 17.If you would like to know more about me, click the My Bio Page link below.

Band Website: Your looking at it!
Band Members: ME! And my Keys! So I said to myself, SELF! Solo, SOLO, I hear in the back of my mind, solo they can't HEAR you! LOL! I love playing in bands, and I'm sure I will miss it, there is nothing like being with good players and having it all click. But now, I'm going to do something a little different. Don't think for one second that I'm going to sit down and play elevator music, that ain't happenin'! Everything that you hear in the songs I have posted was put down by me. I have had some help, but, everything was edited and mixed by me. The drums, guitars, keys and brass tracks are ALL MIDI. The vocal tracks are me as well. I thought at one point of bringing some of you in to help me with leads and backing vocals, but I found that writing the midi tracks wasn't that hard. The songs are still a little rough, and I know they need some work. That's where you, my friends and band mates come in. I'm looking forward to hearing from you for your comments and your suggestions for improvement and material. You guys are the greatest!
Influences: The Beatles, Cream, Bob Dylan, Alice Cooper(The band and the man). THE BLUES. Zappa, Zeplin, Sabath, ----I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. In all honesty, I have played everything, and I'll listen to anything once. I like to think that I've managed to keep an open mind when it comes to music. After all I have 2 boys in there 20's.
Sounds Like: I do a lot of cover tunes! But I hope to have some original material soon. Believe it or not, I've had some interesting melodies bouncing around in by head.
Record Label: none
