I like piano bars,-- but that is just not my kind of music! I wanna' rock! Now that the sound of midi insturments has improved dramaticaly along with the software, I'm out to change the WORLD!! (What Ever!). No, I just want to have some fun and play a little music while I still can. Anyway, here are some things about my musical background. I will always remember waking up on Saturday and Sunday mornings listening to my Mom's stereo, (new stuff in 1960). She had a record collection, that's right 33 & 1/3, LP, vinyl disks. Everything from The Big Bands to Harry Nilsson's "A Little Touch Of Schemilsson In The Night". It was mine untill she heard it. I started playing the piano at an early age. I learned by watching and listening to my sister practice. (LOL). Then, listening to records, I began to play along. I learned to play guitar when a good friend of mine showed me three chords, E, A, and D, on his Silver Tone electric, you know the one, the amplifier was built into the case, how cool! Guess which song THAT was! If you can, I'll buy you a beer the next time I see you. Really! Then, I taught myself to play the bass, on a Silver Tone. I sure wish I still had that one. The rest is history. I've been playing around Indy for a long time in several bands. Fine Water, Rat Brothers, Mazzard, Racoon Hollow, Denny and the Deuce Coups, Vertigo Fetish, Vital Spot, Just In Time, Backseat Memories, The Stepchildren, Dyrrj, and The Plan, one of my favorites 'cause we didn't have a plan. The Clubs, too many to list. But my best memories were with Vital Spot at, The Sports Bar, down town Indy. Simerill's in Terre Haute IN. C.T. Pepper's in Broadripple, Bogie's which is now Pepper's South and World Mardi Gras. And with The Stepchildren, Clancey's, The Point After, and John Wayne's in Beech Grove IN. Oh Yea, I played The Sherwood Country Club when I was 17.If you would like to know more about me, click the My Bio Page link below.
