"We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole multi colored collection of uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon. "
"Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. A normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow. But he won't know what to make of your blinker signal that says you are about to turn right. This is to let him know you're pulling off for a proper place to talk. It will take him a moment to realize that he's about to make a 180 degree turn at speed, but you will be ready for it. Brace for the g's." Fear and Loathing
"When I lived in Porpoise Spit, I used to sit in my room for hours and listen to ABBA songs. But since I've met you and moved to Sydney, I haven't listened to one Abba song. That's because my life is as good as an Abba song. It's as good as Dancing Queen." Muriels Wedding

"On September 3rd 1973, at 6:28pm and 32 seconds, a bluebottle fly capable of 14,670 wing beats a minute landed on Rue St Vincent, Montmartre. At the same moment, on a restaurant terrace nearby, the wind magically made two glasses dance unseen on a tablecloth. Meanwhile, in a 5th-floor flat, 28 Avenue Trudaine, Paris 9, returning from his best friend's funeral, Eugène Colère erased his name from his address book. At the same moment, a sperm with one X chromosome, belonging to Raphaël Poulain, made a dash for an egg in his wife Amandine. Nine months later, Amélie Poulain was born." Amelie
"Hey. Could we do that again? I know we haven't met, but I don't want to be an ant. You know? I mean, it's like we go through life with our antennas bouncing off one another, continously on ant autopilot, with nothing really human required of us. Stop. Go. Walk here. Drive there. All action basically for survival. All communication simply to keep this ant colony buzzing along in an efficient, polite manner. "Here's your change." "Paper or plastic?' "Credit or debit?" "You want ketchup with that?" I don't want a straw. I want real human moments. I want to see you. I want you to see me. I don't want to give that up. I don't want to be ant, you know? " Waking Life
"I was wondering if I could purchase some heroin and then we could go out and do some hate crimes and stuff." Corky Romano
Brandt: You never went to college...
The Dude: Oh, no I did, but I spent most of my time occupying various administration buildings... smoking a lot of thai stick... breaking into the ROTC... and bowling. To tell you the truth Brandt, I don't remember most of it.

I hate TV- really, the news is depressing- everything you see and hear on the news is not 100% accurate, the story is always changed/stretched, altered- it's a means to tell you what "they" want you to knowREALITY TV IS TAKING OVER THE WORLD! It's all distraction- and even from time to time I get suckered in and I feel like a tool-If I do watch TV its the educational stuff really Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, The FOOD Network, TLC, and sometimes BRAVO. I also recently started watching the National Geographic Channel- its pretty sweet. And on HBO- I do enjoy Weeds amd Carnivale.
1984, Brave New World, Animal Farm, The Autobiography of Marilyn Manson, Sophie's World, Anything and everything by Charles Bukowski, The Tattooed Man, The Nomad, Ray Bradbury, Topsy Turvy and on and on.the problem was you had to keep choosing between one evil or another, and no matter what you chose, they sliced a little bit more off you, until there was nothing left. at the age of 25 most people were finished. a whole god-damned nation of assholes driving automobiles, eating, having babies, doing everything in the worst way possible, like voting for the presidential candidate who reminded them most of themselves." - Ham on Rye, Charles Bukowski
All three of my sisters, my grandmother, families surviving in third world countries, conscientious objectors to the war, those who sacrifice themselves for others, those working diligently in the peace corp working hard to save not only the planet but also those less fortunate than most, and those in the musical industry that have the ability to produce real music. Music that inspires and makes you feel... The real stuff. Artists, Photographers, anyone who posesses the ability to be creative with any form.P.S. Anyone able to do the things I desire to do but lack the current ability to wrap my mind around- if that makes sense, lol.
