I'm 29, happily married, and the proud father of a new(ish) baby boy. I enjoy maps, politics, making a fool of myself, non-fiction, any kind of non-seafood food, Oregon wine, running, Oregon beer, anything to do with Gandhi, skiing and snowboarding. I'll have an occasional urge to pet animals that have no business being petted. I am often disorganized, yet surprisingly anal about the order in which I eat certain foods. I enjoy just about any kind of music except jazz, and that's not because I haven't tried to like it or because I don't get it, but because I just really don't like it. I like going to church, but I don't like it when they make me sing and I really don't like it when they make me shake everyone's hands. I love reading and writing, and yet to this day I still don't know the difference between a verb and an adverb. But I don't think it matters as long as you can put together a coherent sentence. I think there's too much violence in film and music, yet I love listening to Eminem and Braveheart is one of my favorite movies. I feel like I know a little about a lot, but not a lot about a little. And I'm not sure which is better. My pet peeves are people who jiggle the change in their pockets while on the elevator and people who refer to Wednesday as "hump" day.
