=I'm an open minded person or at least I try to be. I do my best to fight the ignorance of life though it is still a part of me. I'm currently in college; I attend Florida A&M University. I'm currently a General Education major and will be switching to Journalism with a minor in education. I aim to be a good person; I'm also a God fearing person. I'm an old spirit or at least I believe so. Many of my friends and associates believe so as well. Since I was a kid I was sometimes called a grandma or told that I sounded like a Mother or that I am from the south somewhere. All I know is that my spirit is not part of my generation. I came before them I just returned in an 80s baby's body (lol). I'm a proud Cancer born on June 24, 1988. I am also a proud New Yorker who loves her borough of Queens but the city itself will always have a special place in my heart. I'm a quiet girl, and extremely sensitive, so watch your words around me. I'm known for that and for hiding my feelings pretty well when I'm hurt. I have a sharp tongue, which sometimes gets me into trouble. Though I try to watch myself it still occurs anyway. I love my friends, I love to laugh, eat, shop, sleep and read a good book. I'm a sports girl too, my first love is gymnastics, and I love to swim (I actually know how to swim unlike most people, especially most black folk) and I also really enjoy baseball...GO METS!!!. Sadly still a little confused on the sport but I love it anyway. My West Indian pride is a true part of me I represent the quiet island of Barbados for my grandparents and all my ancestors before them. I don't care for drama or ignorant people. I am who I am, still learning and trying to find myself, and as I do that all I need is to be positive and the belief that God is with me at all times. I love intelligence and maturity, I like those who are realistic, and I cannot stand arrogance that is beyond what it should be. I believe with everything there is a point and after that point it is all on you. I do not believe you need drugs or anything beyond a nice drink or just your friends to have a good time.
