Val

Hello there, I'm Val. I'm 100% American but I grew up in Italy (cuz my parents were missionaries). I lived there for about 13 years, then moved to Germany and was there for the next 5 years. Yeah, I've been all over the world and I am now back in the United States(CA). It's ok here but I miss Europe more than anything, that's as in Italy of course! I would do anything to go back! I'm doing my best to keep holden on to the thought of someday returning to the country where my heart belongs in...till then, I'm just gonna have to suck it up and learn how to deal with living here in Cali... Ok, ok..its not THAT bad here, its just that I am not used to being surrounded by such fake people. California is a beautiful and "exciting" place to live, but its adopted a false sence of "reality". It is filled with people who once believed that money, fame and glamour were the key to contentment and just simply being "happy". It is sad to see how those exact things that were thought to bring goodness(in one's life) end up being the exact opposite; their destruction. I guess it's kinda like watching a kick-ass movie and then going to see the set where they made it...its just cardboard set's and computer graphics...all just...fake...
