Hi, my name is Myron...AND I'M A SALSAHOLIC!!!***Round of applause from the Salsaholics-Anonymous Group***Ok, now that we've got that established...About me - I'm pretty much a cool, laid back, fun loving, all-around nice guy. I love to laugh, I love to have a good time, and I love meeting people. Most of all, I love God. Yeah, I know, that sounds so cliche-ish, so allow me to go into a bit more detail on that...I was baptised into Christ on October 8th, 2000 and have been a Disciple of Jesus for over 7 years now. When I say I'm a Christian, I don't mean that I just go to Church every Sunday and Wednesday. I don't mean that I'm perfect in any way. I mean that I put forth my best effort live my life the way that the Bible says to (and yes, I do read it). This means that I still sin and fall short, but I have made the decision that when I do, I will repent, (This means that you do the opposite of what you were doing before. Saying you're sorry or asking for forgiveness has nothing to do with it) and I have my brothers and sisters in Christ who help me stay accountable to what I claim to be.
A little over 5 years ago, God gave me a passion for Salsa Dancing. And no, dancing is not a sin. However, it CAN be a sin depending on how you do it. Study it out in the Bible if you don't believe me. Just thought I'd clear that up for y'all. Anyway, of all the things I've ever enjoyed doing, I have never been as passionate about anything else as I am w/ Salsa. God gave me a talent, so I plan on using it to the fullest by giving it my all and by using it to meet other people who I can befriend, inspire, influence, and ultimately help them to know God. I just recently began teaching group classes as my "hustle" on the side. I eventually want to perform and compete in the near future. I don't necessarily aim to make a living off of it, as I wouldn't want to end up doing it just for the money, but if I get that far I certainly won't argue. ;-)
