The young, beautiful, talented, and song writer Dejanae. Well known as Tamia Robbins was born in Winston Salem, NC, where she was born and raised to the age of 9. She's been singing since the age of 9 and has been writing her own songs since the age of 13. The dedicated singer just celebrated her high school graduation of 2006. "I'm young and just getting started, It's my time to shine!", quoted Dejanae. Dejanae has presented herself in talent shows, music showcases, and beauty pageants. Dejanae has many different talents. She draws, braids hair, and runs track. She sings on the praise and worship team at her church, also. She's been singing in church for 4 years. The students of her graduated class knows her of her singing and running abilities. Lets just say she's a very multi-talented young lady. Dejanae is inspired by many artist such as Brandy, Diana Ross, Kiki Sheard, Heather Headley, and many other female artist. Dejanae listens to all types of music. " I'm inspired by all kinds of music because it gives me an idea of creating something different for the world to hear," quoted Dejanae. Dejanae is the oldest of 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Her goals are to make good examples for her younger siblings and lead them in the right direction. The 18 year old is futhering her education at Benedict College in Columbia, SC where she will be running track. Her major will be business management. She plans on owning her own label one day. Dejanae explains, "I am proud of myself by making it this far because I've been through trips and boundaries, but I remained to stay strong in everything I do". I'm a leader and not a follower.
