Formed in Memphis, Tennessee, The band was signed to Geffen records by legendary A&R man Tom Zutaut in 1991. The guys were quickly wisked away to Hollywood to record "Want Some" with GNR producer Mike Clink. Managed by Doug Thaler (Motley Crue) the band enjoyed great success with their first album. MTV,TOURS,TONS OF PRESS, they were rock stars!! Then Seatle happened just as the band was ready to record their second record. All of the sudden all of the rock fans were into flannel shirts and goat tees! Rock-n-Roll as we knew it was DEAD!! The band made a business decision not to release the second record in the throws of Nirvana and Pearl Jam. At least they quit while they were ahead!!! Roxy Blue is listed in the "History of Rock-n-Roll" book as the last successful hair band!!!The band is Todd Poole,Sid Fletcher, Scotty T, and Josh Weil.-------------------------------------------------------
