About Me

I spent the first 33 years of my life trying to find success, happiness and satisfaction doing it my way. From the outside looking in, my life appeared to be in order. I had a good job, beautiful wife and three fantastic kids, I had arrived! But in reality, my life was falling apart. In September, 1998 the path I had chosen finally lead me to a dead end. I had done all I knew to do, exhausted nearly every resource available to me and still no peace. I knew there was only one way to turn and I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ asking Him to show me the way. "But wait, there's more".......Did everything come together, smooth sailing from there on out? No, not really. It took a long time for my relationship with my family to improve, there were significant changes in my career, pay and lifestyle, but Jesus has walked with me each step of the way! Anyone who tells you that surrendering your life to Christ will make all your problems go away is misleading you. But I can assure you of this, with His help, leadership and guidance, YOU will find the satisfaction YOU are looking for.

Music:

I love the style of music I grew up with, groups like .38 Special, Boston, Blackfoot, Journey, Red Ryder, Allen Parsons Project, Cinderella, Queensryche, REM, Kansas, Live & Pink Floyd. I'm also into music by artists P.O.D., Disciple, Switchfoot, Skillet, Pillar, Train and Jars Of Clay. There are also a bunch of great contemporary Christian artists who have written music that speaks to my heart like Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin, Delirious?, David Crowder Band, Third Day, Todd Agnew, Jeremy Camp, dc Talk and Rush of Fools. Check these guys out sometime, you'll be blessed!

Movies:

I very seldom sit still long enough to watch a whole movie unless I'm at the theater, but recently I have seen "Bourne Ultimatum" and "Transformers" which were both pretty cool.

Television:

ESPN, The Big Ten Network, OHIO STATE FOOTBALL

Books:

I don't do as much reading as I used to. It is pretty much limited to the time I sit on the "pot", but I do like Tom Clancey and Dan Browns' stuff. "Eragon" and the "Eldest" by Christopher Paolini. If your into fantasy, like Dragons, Elves and Dwarves you'll love his stuff!

Heroes:

I have a number of personal hero's, first and foremost, Jesus Christ. How He could love me enough to die for me is incomprehensible! My wife Melissa is next in line. She is the toughest, sweetest, most beautiful women I have ever met. She is my "gift from God".
