About Me

I was born in Alhambra, California many years ago. I have three children - Ruth, Caleb and Naomi - and four grandchildren - Aidan, James, Thayer and Zoe. My kids and grandkids are my life.I live in Ohio now with my sweet and fun husband, named Dick, who spoils me rotten. (for instance, as I am typing this - he is doing the laundry). Oh! Then there are more kids - His! Dick has four children - Terry, Scott, Robert and Brian. He has at least four grandchildren and one great-grand child. I wish we would see them all more. They are all wonderful.
There are other special family in my life too. First, Jack, my first husband. Yes, I know that it is weird, but we still are very close. We had 21 years of happiness together followed by a year of gross misunderstanding and stress. Then there are my son-in-laws - my girls have such good taste in men!! They are Michael (Ruth's husband) and Jon (Naomi's husband). They are both wonderful. I love them greatly. (and they are handsome too!)now on to more....

I have had many rats over the years. They love to cuddle and grind their teeth...I love the sound!
Interests: Sincere, and yes, good looking men (yes, I'm human...I may be old, but still very much alive!)Hobbies: Reading, all needlecraft, jig-saw puzzles, painting on just about anything (even people if they get in my way), computer games and surfing, scrapbooking and a lot other crafts and creating run on thoughts and sentences like this one.

I'd Like to Meet????Well since I am not looking for a man (I already have plenty in my life -hehe) - I'll tell you some people I would like to meet. Some alive and some passed on...Stars: Sean Connery, Jonathan Franks, Chuck Norris, Sly Stallone, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Mel Gibson, David Caruso, Barbara Streisand, Enya, Rod Stewart, Christopher Reeves and I am sure I could think of a dozen or so more.
Leaders and Inspirational People: Gordon B. Hinkley, George Bush, Ronald Reagan, Neil Armstrong, Chuck Yeager, David O. McKay, Joseph Smith, Porter Rockwell, and Martin Harris (how I would love to set down and talk with him). Many many more...

40's - early 50's music - especially love songs Classical Country - even the old stuff from the 50's Classic Rock Just about everything with the exception of Rap, Hip-hop, and JazzCurrent: Right now I am obsessed with Creed.

Movies:

All time favorite: Gone With the WindLord of the Rings Trilogy All of the Star Trek Movies All of the Star Wars Movies

Television:

CSI - Miami (I love David Caruso!!), New York and Vegas are okay...Without a Trace and NCISOther than those (and I don't always watch them)...I think TV is a sucker of time that could better be used doing other things....stepping off my soapbox...
