A little history about me........Wow this really makes my feel old. LoL
I started DJ'ing while living in Miami, Florida back in 1987. I did not have any DJ equipment but my boy Cee did back then. Every Sat. morning 9:00 AM sharp I use to wake his ass up to learn how to mix. I started mixing Freestyle, Miami Bass and Oldschool B-Boys Jams. A few years later I started doing parties with my boy JD and by the end of 1989 we got into House Music. I always liked mixing all kind of music together cause from the very start I always saw music as a gateway to bring all kinds of cultures together as one, and not to categorize the art that is music. I'm sorry to say, that radio stations and part of the music industry have created this new generation of music fans that only want to listen to one maybe two types of music. That is truly sad : (Expand your mind pleople please...........Over all, I have mixed at one point or another over my 19+ years as a DJ: Freestyle, Bass, Electro Funk, Funk, Disco, Jazz, Retro, Pop, House, Techno, Trip Hop, Jungle, Break Beats, Trance, Hip Hop, R&B, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Reaggeton, Reagge, and even European Jams that I would pay $3-5 Dollars more then any domestic label.I started playing at night clubs on / off since 1995. Clubs like Ruins, Cameo, Liquids, Warsaw, just to name a few. I like to thanks all those people that have come across my life, and also came to see me spin at all the parties and all the clubs and events. You guys make me push my self to be the best I can be and I'm very grateful for that... : )I've been out of the seen for about two years now, but I still mix for fun and to make people enjoy the beautiful art of music.I'm going to post a new remix at least once a month and some older ones if possible, so feel free to download and post your comments.PS.
