Apostle Darrell Yancey - 'The Force':
Originally from West Helena, Arkansas, this Pastor is best known for his powerful vocals. Having been a part of the gospel music industry for many years, he has yielded several projects including: Apostle Darrell Yancey & Shekinah's 'God Will Never Fail', 'Who Is Like The Lord' and 'Do The Right Thang'; Apostle Darrell Yancey & True Convenant's 'Let's Reign'. He is probably most notably known for his trademark sound on the Dallas and Fort Worth Mass Choir Recording 'Another Chance'.
Darian 'DD" Yancey - 'The Melody':
As the eldest child of Apostle Yancey, this young lady has definitely made her mark with an undeniable melodious voice. She was a diligent founding member of True Covenant, and from there bloomed into a premier vocalist throughout the Dallas and Fort Worth metroplex. Her signature sound was a stand out on Terrance Mackey & New Restoration's 'Oh, How I Love Jesus'.
Dedrick 'Deon' Yancey - 'The Hitmaker':
For many years Deon has shared his vocal craft and songwriting through personal recordings and as a part of the gospel group Terrance Mackey & New Restoration. But beyond his vocal ability and excellent songwriting talents, he is a skillful producer. The inception of Y3 afforded him the opportunity to showcase this gift and the outcome is sheer joy.
Collectively Y3 presents songs that urge you to embrace faith, hope and the fulfillment of destiny. The strong lyrical content is only further enhanced by the musical production. The union of the lyrics and the clarity of the music from this project elevates it to a true level of musical perfection.
