Graham's Space

I am here for Friends

About Me

..src="http://www.Myspace-Help.com/myspace-help.gif" alt="Myspace Help" width="134" height="67" border="0"> THIS SPACE WAS CREATED IN HONOUR OF GRAHAM PAUL VENNING WHO DIED SUDDENLY, UNEXPECTEDLY AND TRAGICALLY OF ACCIDENTAL CAUSES ON THE MORNING OF SATURDAY 24th JUNE 2006. HE IS A VERY MUCH LOVED BROTHER, SON, UNCLE AND FRIEND WHO WILL BE MISSED GREATLY BY ALL THOSE THAT KNEW HIM. WE HOPE THIS SPACE WILL GROW IN A MANNER THAT REFLECTS THE EFFECT HE HAD ON THOSE AROUND HIM AND THE JOY, LAUGHTER AND LOVE HE SPREAD DURING HIS TRAGICALLY SHORT LIFE. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO GET INVLOVED.
Please read the blog 'Graham's Story' to read about his life and what happened to him. I have also uploaded the DVD of Graham's funeral which is a slide show of photo's with some of his favourite tracks playing underneath. At first I didn't want to upload the funeral DVD as its very personal but it was pointed out to me that many people wanted to come to the funeral but weren't able to make it for various reasons but now they can be a part of the funeral and say their own goodbyes to Graham. I've also uploaded some old video footage of the band practicing at the hall in Kingsway, Teignmouth so check it out its good for a laugh!
I would just like to say a huge 'THANK YOU' to all the bands that have added themselves to this page. Virtually everyone I have asked have added themselves straight away and some have even left personal messages which is amazing. It really shows which bands care about the fans and which bands don't. Thanks you all. I know Graham would be so chuffed to see this page and all the bands(and mates)that have got involved.
R.I.P. GRAHAM PAUL VENNING &nbsp&nbsp 01/01/1972 - 24/06/2006
Please feel free to add yourself as a friend and add a comment. If you have anything else to add or suggest then please email me at [email protected]. This space has been created by Chris Venning, Matt Roffe & Spencer Smith and is maintained by Chris.
With help from the rest of Graham's friends and family, we would like to see this space growing until it fully reflects Graham, his life, his friends and the huge courage and strength he showed during his short life. Please get involved and let's make this a proper modern memorial not like some dull headstone in a cemetery or a rusty bench no one sits on in a park somewhere!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

THE LIBERTINES - Up The Bracket

This is The Libertines at their peak. They were Grahams favourite band prior to his death. He loved every song they wrote and had learnt most of them on the guitar.

LEMON JELLY - Stay With You

Another of Grahams favourite bands. lemon Jelly were his electronic favourite as The Libertines were his guitar favourites. I think of all the Lemon Jelly stuff he played(at full volume!)this is the only one anybody else could stand! I've grown to quite like them now.
