How Is My Page Now?

GPIA is a graphic design company headed by me "Jahmeso", a Chicago-based graphic designer. A once upon a time Computer Graphics major in a few Chicago colleges, GPIA found freedom in the confinement of technology. GPIA was formed within it's affiliate companies Keep Close Entertainment and Moorden Music in order to provide CD cover artwork for local recording artists. Seeing the need for this service to other artist, GPIA sought out an education in the field of digital art and manipulation. I grew up under the mentorship of my older brother, an already polished sketch artist. Impressed with the way my brother sketched Hip Hop characters on his school notebooks and folders, I adapted his style. I started later painting a little bit using both oil and water color formats. Nothing seemed to intrigue me as much as photography and image manipulation. I always sat and sketched up little cassette tape covers for my imaginary rap groups (lol), so this was my chance to keep up the vision. Through out my travels from south to north, I came across many talented like-minds (hence the moniker "great pens ink alike"). So...here I am standing before the future.G.P.I.A. = Great Pens Ink Alike

We would like to meet any and all people trying to make it happen in this so called "industry". Now taking submissions and reviewing material for coverage in our magazine. Days have been quite cloudy
