Sounds Like: Choir Musik. The gift of singing itself, the physical act, is not influenced by but granted to. The gift that I have is one that is ordained. One that was predetermined. One that is solely mine.To date there have been a number of influences in my life that have spawned musical pieces. However, it was not until recently that my music as a whole had been effected substantially by an outside force. The lyrical composition and vocal expression in my most recent material is one that has been submerssed as of late in CHOIR MUSIK. This is merely a label for a nontangible form of artistic expression rooted in something deeper than I know. I am merley a vessel. It is the water in your eyes, the shiver down your spine, the belief that you too could have done what was just done followed by the realization that you can't, the repressed memory that is vividly painted by the voice, that moment when all around you is irrealvent becasue your heart has been so profoundly touched....in those moments, induced by the voice , in a place where a passion for music lives in every note. The Essence of ones being is lived, felt and experinced in every song. Where music is simply music....lives Choir Musik! No smoke. No screens. No fancy dance moves or stage props. Just Music.
