The names Tanya... I'm 20, I live in Nottingham, England, during holidays etc, and Leicester during termtime... I'm into all sorts of music, mainly metal, but I don't turn my nose up much. At the moment, I am focusing on passing this degree in English that I've gotten involved with.. preferably to a decent standard as well... but that's another story lol :)

If I'm not on MSN, I'm probably at one of my [too] many societies that I'm involved in at uni... St John ambulance, which is vastly becomming my life, poetry or socialist students... and if I'm not there, I'll be on the phone or something... of facebook, my second vice.
I either want to be a teacher, a music journalist, or a paramedic... (all very different...) because those jobs would be wicked and challenging.. and I couldn't stand a boring office job!
Other than that, I like playing the Piano and Guitar, and I like going to Rock city, (and now Fanclub and Mosh in Leicester) and hanging out with mates :D etc etc
I LIKE:
Making new friends, and keeping in contact with the ones I've got... though thats harder than I thought it would be, especially with not living at home anymore... I also like famous people, singing (though I'm not very good), musicians... 'cus they're the best... I'm lucky enough to know alot of very talented musicians, most notably Salli, and the guys from TMH (Check them out.) The band is awsome, and I've made some awsome friends through them...
I also find those people in town who you see and instantly know that they are myspace whores really interesting... lols... I never realised how annoying the template emos were until recently... Thank God I'm not emo... lol... My fave poet is Sylvia Plath , and no, I'm not a feminist... but I wouldn't mind admitting to it if I was... I don't see anything wrong with being a feminist... It's just the ignorant people who associate being a feminist with being a lesbian with hairy armpits or whatever... (no offence to lesbians with hairy armpits) *Digs herself deeper into the hole*... lols...
But anyways.. yeah... Not a feminist, but I think there are some good lessons to be learned from studying Feminism, but I'll leave that to Ben Parsons!
I like changing my hair colour... but I've ended up in a bit of a pink rut at the moment... I've had it purple for about a day... and blonde for about 3... but I always chicken out and go back to pink...
I'm interested in everything seriously... lols.. Socialism, though I don't know a great deal about politics (but I'm learning), football (though I don't know all/any of the rules... I like to see Sheff Wed win... and Arsenal too), and Rugby (though, again, I don't know any of the rules... but I have them explained to me almost every week at tigers games... lols...). I love doing duties for St John Ambulance because it's seriously so so so much fun, and the people I've made friends with through there are AWSOME!
I like going to random places, especially just getting on a train and seeing where you end up... but I have no sense of direction at all...lols... which I guess, makes it more fun :D lols
I also have way too much free time on my hands, despite being involved in about a gazillion different societies at uni... and being a closet myspace/facebook whore... ooops...

being a student... lol :P ok.. thats not true.. I like being a student, cus it means I can do not very much, and hang out with people my age all the time.. It's just the course I'm not overly keen on, but it's getting better. I don't really like people who are rude, and I hate people who don't say please and thankyou... I find it so irritating.. seriously... Thats basically it.. I'm fairly easy going...
