Hit The Deck Entertainment was formed in 1998 by Shavarr Brown (aka TRE-B), a graduate from the rough streets of Western PA with a deadly synergy of street smarts and a hustlers will, and co-hustler and partner and co-producer David Carter, with the focus on bringing the super talented Western PA area (and their own talent) to the forefront of the music industry. Though possessing production and verbal skills that are on a level that has not been heard, the team has also been very successful in other business ventures involving innovative promotional techniques incorporating the lessons learned from experiences as a local hustler, and applying them to the corporate world, including, the formation of the largest auto complex in the Western PA area, featuring a high end used luxury car lot and repair facility.Since the formation of HIT THE DECK the independent label has released several local albums, including TRE-B CAN U SEE ME, TMC STOP THE HATEN VOL. 1 TRE-B LIFES A TRIP, X-CAL BROKE MOTIVATED, DECO PISTOVANIA THE MIX TAPE, TRE-B THE SECOND COMING, and SCYTH D THE GOOD LIFE PROJECT racking up a total of , 50,000 units sold, mostly through good relationships with local records stores, such as On-Que, NRM, and mom and pop stores such as Stricly Sounds Blue Jays and Nickeys Music _________________________________________________________
