If flight ever becomes a secondary interest, I'll give up right then and there & bartend the rest of my life. Starting 7 years ago, being a commercial pilot has been my dream. I love it, and miraculously enough now I get paid to do it. That's all that matters. Motorcycle riding (dirt & street) kicks ass, although it's kinda F*cking up my driving record. Camping, swimming, being with friends.
Burt Rutan. Too Short. Jimmy Carter. Brittany Daniel. Bill Clinton. George Clinton and The Parliament Funkadelic. Snoop Dog. Nate Dogg. Kim Jong Il. (to kick his Korean ass) The Governator. John McCain. And Stewie, from Family Guy. Definitely Stewie. Oh, and Erin Hulme in 15 years.
I LISTEN TO EVERYTHING! Favorite groups/Artists; Audioslave, Greenday, Bowling for Soup, DJ Quik, Daft Punk, The Chemical Brothers, Fountains of Wayne, Fatboy Slim, ODB, Method Man, Dru Down, Snoop, Dre, Eminem, Xhibit, DJ Clue, Naughty by Nature, Tupac, B.I.G., 70's Funk music (James Brown, Ray Charles, RICK JAMES BITCH, among others...) Techno, blues, classic rock, oldies, and yes, oh god yes, just a little bit of country. Hey! Quit laughing!! Focker...
If we go out to the theater.... and you expect MY ass to pay, it's going to have to be either a comedy, action, or psychological thriller/suspense movie. We can RENT mind-numbing movies like Legally Blonde 2 and watch it at my house, and you can bring the wine coolers and your blankie. Foo-foo movies are not for the big screen. As for favorite movies...Napoleon Dynamite, Office Space, Joe Dirt, and The Ladies Man top the charts, but of course you've gotta have the good'uns like Snatch, Lock stock and Two smoking Barrels, the Usual Suspects, Fight Club, and any other "I don't give a fuck" type movies. For comedy, basically anything with Will Farrel, Tim Meadows, Vince Vaughn, Steve Carell or Adam sandler is pretty good. Except for Punch Drunk Love. I'd still like to get my $7.75 and 2 hours of my life back for that shitty movie. :)Quick wit is a must in comedy and the only thing holding a candle to it is the oddly familiar strange wit. Will Farrell, Robin Williams, Stephen Kolbert, Sacha Baron Cohen, Steve Carell, Luke Wilson, all good cases in point. Sucks for you if you're not smart enough to understand it, but it's damn funny.
I watch TV as little as possible. I guess I kinda consider it the opiate for the masses. Plus I'm busy, or else I'd watch The Simpsons, Family Guy, Southpark, Elimidate and other shows that would distract me from way more important shit I have to do. If it's THAT funny, it's on the net, and you can download it and laugh yourself to sleep every night ~ like I do.
I read to study or further my knowledge in something, like investing or property management/ownership. Homey don't play fiction. The newspaper, motorcycle, and flying magazines are regulars too.
1) My grandma. She's 90 years old and she rocks. Plus she's adorable. Don't beleive me? Look at my pix.2) My Ex-ex, Sarah. For teaching me how to love, grow up, and be a better person, and also for saving me about $95,000. Yeah it sounds funny, but ask me about it...true story...3) My parents. Not just for raising me, but for helping me realize the benefit of home ownership without EVER paying one cent in rent - to anybody. And for not getting pissed about me having sex and drinking alcohol in their house before I was old enough to do so. Aaand they were pretty cool about that thing with the PBR, fireworks, potato gun, and the police... Haha :)4) Erin, my last girlfriend, for restoring my faith in relationships and the absloute power of a woman over a man, even if she's only 100 lbs. =) She amazes the shit out of me on a regular basis. Always going to love you.
