Starting in the 70s, Sarah Brown has been a name in theinternational blues and roots music scene.

Sarah is interviewed and featured in live footage in the recentlyreleased DVD "Antone's: Home of the Blues".
Sarah was part of the Antones House Band during the 80s and early90s. She appears on many live and studio recordings from the Antonesdays.
Sarah appears on over 50 recordings, including her own CD, "SayinWhat I'm Thinkin" on the Blind Pig label.
She has been profiledin Bass Player magazine, was awarded "best bass player" in the AustinMusic Polls 4 times, , and was nominated for two W.C. Handy awards
Her songs have been recorded by such notables as R&B legend RuthBrown and New Orleans star Irma Thomas, as well as Marcia Ball, JoeLouis Walker, Rosie Flores and more, and on upcoming releases by BillKirchen and Leigh "Little Queenie" Harris.
2006 release "In A Honky Tonk Mood" by The Lucky Tomblin Band,features both her singing and her bass, and in in current radiorotation.
Sarah is currently resides in Austin, Texas and maintains an activecareer, playing, writing, teaching and recording.
