Friends and family are the two most important things to me and nothing makes me happier than spending time with both. I live by the notion that "failure is not defeat until you stop trying." I am not sure who said that but it is something that makes me thrive to be better.I enjoy watching and playing various sports from football, baseball and volleyball to lawn darts and synchronized swimming. I enjoy hiking and running. Playing games, movies, cooking, Premiere magazine, coloring outside the lines, discovering uncharted land, wedding crashing, time travel, the number 23, collecting shotglasses from around the world and drinking from shotglasses around the world.
I think i would like to meet in no particular order Albert Einstein, Quentin Tarantino, Nostredamos, Robert DeNiro, Edward Norton, John F. Kennedy, Sean Penn, Jimi Hendrix, Howard Hughes, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Anniston, Bill Gates, John Lennon, Will Farrell, Dan Rather, Thomas Edison, Vince Lombardi, Michael Hutchence, Bobby Knight, Vincent Van Gogh, and I would like to have Rachel Rey prepare me a 30 minute meal!
I like a wide variety of music from Coldplay, Nine Inch Nails, Beck and INXS to Al Green, Prince and Gnarls Barkley. I like jazz, WYEP and I am a big fan of 80's music. Also Damien Rice, Iron and Wine ,Peter, Bjorn, and John, Jett , TV on the Radio, White Stripes, the Killers, Radiohead, Gomez, Mark Ronson, Muse, Bill Withers, Joy Division , Ryan Adams, Kenna, Kanye West, Dave Mathews Band, Sting, Annie Lennox, Duffy, George Benson, Peter Gabriel, The Cure, Gorillaz, the Roots, The Verve, and The Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Some of my favorite movies include Reservoir Dogs, Caddyshack, Stripes, Clerks, True Romance, and Office Space. My favorite movie of all time is The Shawshank Redemption. Also The Departed, Little Miss Sunshine, Lucky Number Slevin, Usual Suspects, Saw, Heat, The Game, Blow, Mad Max, Swingers, Manhunter, To Live and Die in LA, Things To Do in Denver When You're Dead, Memento, Rollerball(original), Thief, Goodfellas, The Godfathers, The Great Escape, Sixteen Candles, Better Off Dead, The Pink Panther Films, Narc, Anchorman, John Woo Films, Blow Out, At Close Range, Angel Heart, Dog Day Afternoon, Sex, Lies and Videotape, Boogie Nights, Stir Crazy, The Outsiders, The Untouchables, Gladiator, The Natural, Rush, The Shining, Die Hard, Good Will Hunting, Anything from Mel Brooks, Fletch, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Night Shift, Napolen Dynamite, Old School, Flirting With Disaster, and Realty Bites. I like Lost and The Office, but my favorite show of all time is Seinfeld. I also like Saturday Night Live, Chapelle Show, Mad TV, My Name is Earl, How I met Your Mother, Family Guy, the Simpsons, and The Sopranos. Older shows like SCTV, Police Squad, and The Gong Show. I am also addicted to the food network and of course ESPN. And who can forget that train wreck of a show, Rock of Love!
The most recent book that i am reading is The Confederacy of Duncies by John Kennedy Toole. It is hilarious!
