About Me

High school was slow for me so I decided college would be a lot more fun. When I was 16, I took the CHSPE, and went to my local JC. I also had a lot of cool jobs. I'm stoked that I had the chance to go to college and work at such a young age. I think it gave me a good foundation and work ethic. I lived on my own, worked, and went to college at about 20--self supported. I put myself through school mostly by waiting tables, and earned a BA degree in Art (emphasis in painting and drawing)from San Francisco State University in 1999. During my last two years of college and up until 2000, I lived across the street from the Pier in Pacifica--That was cool. Since then, I've been working towards making a living with my art. In 2000 I married Steven Hatch. Then we moved to Charlotte, NC, then to San Jose, CA, then to Lynnwood, WA, and then back to San Jose. I also have two kids that take up most of my daylight hours. I'm learning to play guitar, love to listen to music, hike, cook strange food, garden etc.I'm actually kind of reclusive, and love to delve into creative projects for long periods.
