La La & the Boo Ya

About Me

We are well chuffed to be putting out our first releases on the new Midnight Minus 2 label. Look out for our first taster track 'Evidence', which will be free to download. Followed by an EP to coincide with the online release of 'Stay' music film later on...Tom Robinson of BBC 6 Music is "very fond of La La & the Boo Ya" and has played both 'Stay' and 'Stanley King' (for which he was "loving the rough electro sound") on his 'BBC 6 Introducing - Fresh On The Net' show.La La & the Boo Ya are a sibling collaboration, Martha Cecilia and MeatEd (Marf & Eddie to our mates). Respective roles are: MeatEd - rhythm, groove maker, mumbled backing vocalister and sound fucker-upper. Martha Cecilia - songwriter, vocalist, imaginary person on the dancefloor and backseat producer.
