I have been surrounded by music as far back as I can remember. As a child, I taught myself piano and guitar, and was always singing along with the radio wherever I went. In grade school I started playing clarinet and then switched to trombone (insert your faveorite trombone joke here). I played bass in my middle school jazz band and did a year on trombone in the Largo High Band of Gold marching band, as well as being in the performing choir group "Pitchforks"at SPHS. I also began to learn live audio in high school, mixing the musical productions that were put on. I have worked as a Tour Manager and Front of House concert mixer for some really great artist. I've had the pleasure of working with: Rick Braun, Peter White, Richard Elliot, Jeff Golub, Jeff Lorber, Gerald Albright, Rick Derringer, Paul Taylor, Richard Smith, and Mindi Abair. There are many other great artists and groups I have worked with while mixing the Clearwater Jazz Holiday for several years as well as many other large scale concert events. Mostly I am a freelance Bassist both live and in the studio, playing in all sorts of different musical situations. Music is my heart and soul, and there is nothing like the high you get when connecting musically with other great musicians live. ( all you Playas' out there know what I mean!) See ya' on the bandstand....
