About Me

I've been 'into' music since a wee small boy with influences such as The Beatles and Elvis playing huge parts in my initial encounters with music. living in a relatively musical house hold, I was constantly surrounded by music so it was pretty much a given that I would have some involvement with music as I grew older. Growing up in Rock Ferry there wasn't much else to do other than seek out other musicians and try to grind out something that resembled a tune. In 2000 I joined a band called The Shining Hours, and we had some success, including national radio air play and interest from several major record labels. When Dan the bass player was taken from us ahead of his time, I decided to concentrate more on solo works and so it was.The music available on my page are demo's only, from my back catalogue and some new choons too. As such they are rough and usually unfinished. I like to allow the listener to interpret the choon in any way they like and so I try not to influence the listeneres preconception of what the choon is trying to say, and so allow the listener to paint his or her own picture by not naming the track. Numbers are usual what I use although sometimes I will name a choon. I hope you like something that I post and gain enjoyment from your listening experience (",)

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: Scoobiesnoop
Influences: Strangely, my influences stem from my Rock n Roll background so they include RHCP, the Police, Genesis, Led Zep and more recently Telepopmusik, Brian Eno, Kanye West, Curtis Mayfield...... I could probably list a hundred artists but you get the picture. I also take inspiration from the people around me and people in the public eye, so I may read a story in the paper and it inspires me to write a piece of music. Sometimes my inspiration will come from an emotion, - I may be feeling jolly or mischievous, but mainly melancholic, which might be apparent in some of hmy offerings.
