Can't Get Enough of the music I love

About Me

FEATURED VIDEO ROTATION: Hop Along Queen Anleis doing an awesome cover of Chelsea Hotel by Leonard Cohen

THIS MYSPACE ACCOUNT IS LINKED TO A BLOG SITE OBSESSION COLLECTION THE REASON I STARTED THIS BLOG SITE: I have a passion for music. I've been around many years and have always listened to music and attended shows of the classic greats like Hendrix, The Doors, The Stones, Janis Joplin, The Band, and Patti Smith in my youth. Then life took over, but I still listened to and bought great CDs. My passion was dormant until a burned CD of Bright Eyes ended up in my CD player. Something strange happened-- I couldn't get enough. I bought anything I could find and had to see this group live. Well, now having amassed the full collection and twelve live shows later, I am still into it. This opened the door to new and independent music. What was so great about Bright Eyes, and Conor Oberst, was the ever changing cast of players he'd collaborate with and bring on the road. Also, at every show, he had a great opening act. That's how it started. My record collection could be referred to as six degrees of Bright Eyes. I tend to get obsessed with music I like, and my ear has become quite knowledgable. I subscribe to numerous music magazines, check blog sites, and actively seek out live music. I respond to lyrics and music that enhances the words. Maybe you'll like what I like.READ THE ARTICLES I HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT THE MUSICIANS FEATURED ON THIS SITE AT: OBSESSION COLLECTION
