I like to watch movies, listen to most types of music, dance, eat variety of foods. I walk for exercise. I keep up with current events within my city and most of the universe.
I would like to meet a man who is artist, humorous, creative, somewhat a gentleman. A man who is not married or is not in a serious relationship or who is not dwelling on previous relationships. A man who is confident and spontanious. A man who likes to eat out or eat in, see movies out or in. A man who listens while others speak and who can express his own opinions. A man that is not judgemental or prejudice. A man that is considerate of others needs and desires.
Our house was filled with music as a child. Both my grandmothers played the piano.My father and mother loved to sing and listen to the swingin sounds of Benny Goodman and Glen Miller to name a few. I still listen to these greats when I have a chance. Now my current music library features alternative favorites --like Bowie, Eno, Roxy Music, Brian Ferry, Television, Iggy, Leonard Cohen, and many others of this genre--Ive discovered other groups like Cat Power, The Walkmen, Azure Ray, plus many more---and I hope to discover more wonderful sounds with your help. So please enlighten me!!!
Im not into horror flicks that are made today--I like the classics like Dracula, Frankenstein, Rosemary's Baby, The Shining, American Werewolf, Cat People, etc.etc. I like comedies,mysteries, romance, action and art films.
I watch the CBS Sunday Morning and other news channels--does the Daily Show count??!!! I like to watch comedies and documentaries and sorry to say Im hooked on the Amazing Race!!
Im not into books for now. This will probably change due to the extra time I will have soon. I read magazines like Dwell. and I read the newspaper.
My heroes are people that are concerned about the environment. People who will tackle the health issues in our government. People who will end this "neverending war"! My past heroes were my dad and my brother. Both are no longer with me.
