About Me
Pop Cycle Sound is the sound recording company of Brian Woodring. Brian has been working as a recording engineer since 2001 at numerous studios, practice spaces, basements and attics in the Detroit area. He feels equally at home behind a Tascam 4-track and an SSL, and doesnt go anywhere without his API lunchbox. Before he started recording bands, Brian played for several years with Ark Royale. Brian has been fortunate to work with a number of excellent artists and producers, including Kevin Saunderson, D. Wynn, Ron Trent, Vanessa Williams, Esther Smith, Men of Standard, Antwaun Stanley, Fred Hammond, Noel Hall, Martha Munizzi, Marcus Cole, Tone Tone, Marquise Porter, Birdgang, Five Star Hotel Fighter, Honeyburn, Twin Pigs, Core Effect, A Show of Hands, Lexi, Marc Ivory, Donnie McClurkin, the Nevels Sisters and many more. Brian is currently working primarily out of MoLife Entertainment Studios, the home of an excellent gospel music record label, as well as the former studio of gospel legend Fred Hammond. He is also available for mobile recording of live shows or home recording.
