EMJAE aka "Mr. South and East"
The body & soul behind the movement, Emjae is one half of Self Conscience and one of the original members of SC. He's the founder of "Crash Music", bringing to the Hip Hop music industry, a new style of Southern coast swag mixed with East coast gritty poetic rhymes. Born in New Orleans, but raised in New Orleans, LA, and Hartford, CT, Emjae traveled back and forth a lot between cities growing up. Being influenced on both South and East Coasts throughout his early years, molded his sense of style- creating the formula and fusion genre known as "Crash Music". Having performed in New Orleans numerous times for King ENT., a label he was under living down south, Emjae stormed his way onto the music scene, opening up for major industry acts like Cash Money, B.G, Soulja Slim R.I.P, and Mya. Now living in CT, Emjae's grounded his music and the SC name in the much under-the-radar Hip Hop talent state of CT. A new era in music emerges, with SC leading the CT Hip Hop pack, dropping with the long- anticipated mixtape album "Crash Music" the Mixtape- Now Released!
UNIQUE aka "Mr. UsoFly"
The mind & soul behind the movement, Unique is one of the original members and founders of S.C. and has rep'd the Self Conscience lifestyle since day one. The "pretty boy" and occasional shit talker, U is known for spittin' flames, his original style, and cocky persona. Dedicated and driven, Unique contributes greatly to S.C. and what they stand for. His powerful drive and passion for what he does shines through his music; bringing a crazy energy and hotness to every track he touches! With an unstoppable state of mind, U makes it his mission to spit that real and always tells it how it is...Reinforcing why he is The T.R.U.T.H.
