Profile Lifestyle cook, author, photographer and journalistThis Lifestyle Cook, Eric, was born in Switzerland and raised in Australia. He is effervescent, enthusiastic and exceptional. Hailing from a Shepparton, Australia, Eric has Italian roots and was taught how to cook by his mother and father.It was a visit to the UK that brought him into contact with household names. Fresh off the plane and within 24 hours he had landed a position with music legend Sting and his wife Trudie Styler. Eric's personality and his culinary skills were an instant hit. Eric worked as their butler, house manager and part time cook, travelling the world taking care of the couple and their close circle of intimate friends. For two fabulous years Eric co-ordinated visits to the family from triple A List stars including Sir Elton John, Sir Bob Geldoff, Brad Pitt, Jodie Foster and Stevie Wonder. Once he was ‘loaned' to Dustin Hoffman and his family while they were on holiday in Italy. "A memorable experience"…… Eric has also cooked for Bruce Springsteen during a New York visit and for Charlene Spiteri (Texas) and Stella McCartney.In 2000 Eric, landed a position in London with Madonna as the house manager and cook. During his time there he cooked the superstar's favourite foods including a speciality salad while she was pregnant with Rocco. He then took a break from hospitality to travel and catch up with family and friends in Australia.More recently he has been seen on Living TV's Jade's PA and on ITV's This Morning. Eric's first book, 'Celeb's Choice Cuisines' (Author House 2007) highlights fresh and innovative recipes penned whilst working with the likes of Sting and Madonna. Eric's passion for fresh ingredients and healthy living has allowed him to work with some of the most influential personalities in the entertainment industry.Following his work in Celebrity households Eric began to parlaying his skills into television and writing, appearing on Jade's PA, a 6 week show on putting on a Christmas party for OK Magazine on Red TV, This Morning Show, 9am with David & Kim in Australia and most recently, a one hour special on the Truth About Beauty hosted by Martine McCutcheon.Currently Eric is writing his second book, The Life Style Cook (working title), a selection of recipes inspired by his mother's Italian home cooking and his journey around Europe. 1st of November 2007 9AM WITH DAVID AND KIM Day time tv show on chanell 10 in Australia.
23rd of October 2007 was the launch of my book Celebs Choice Cuisine in london. lm now flying off to Australia to launch the book there too. My first stop is at channel 10 on the 9am With David and Kim, then a story in the Hearldsun news paper, the Bendigo Advertiser, the Shepparton News and also Win TV.I also have a book signing at Lovells in the Market Place in Shepparton. lm so looking forward to it all.
