Initially dj'ing was just a hobby. I bought my first pair of decks seven years ago and started buying and mixing records for my own sake. However, my friend DJ A-Rock, who was playing gigs all over Copenhagen, wanted a companion and convinced me to accompany him.
Eventually I started playing gigs of my own. I now play at Copenhagen bars Darling and Saxon's and from time to time at Hip Hop Kontoret (The Hip Hop Office), a club at home in Ideal Bar, part of renowned Copenhagen venue VEGA .
My most prominent gig was playing warm up for GURU, when he gave a concert at Lille VEGA on the 10th of march 2005: GURU
Although I like a lot of different music, I focus on hip hop when it comes to dj'ing. My musical preferences within the genre are Golden Age and East Coast rap, especially from New York. I however play all different styles of hip hop.
Aside from dj'ing, I help run forementioned weekly hip hop club, Hip Hip Kontoret . I handle planning of events, booking, day-to-day working as well as promotion. In my spare time, I am the editor of danish hip hop website Flavourz.dk , which I helped found back in 2002.
During the day, I work in PR and Communication for music venue and night club VEGA.
