This year I play a lot with the band of singer Carmen Gomes. We started a show 'Forbidden Fruit' about singer Nina Simone. We made our own arrangement of her songs and wil play in the smaller theaters througout the Netherlands. We already recorded some songs on a live dvd, I've put up a few recordings here on myspace.
I did some sessionwork last year, and some recordings will come out. If there are new things to let you hear, I will let you know and put it on the myspace player
We started this year with the Amsterdam Headliners at jazzcafé Alto in Amsterdam (see www.myspace.com/theamsterdamheadliners )
I've put some new music on the player. It's from our EP 'Thank You'. We released it June 2008 at a gig in Paradiso (Amsterdam) We will do some more gigs this year, so check my agenda to keep up with future gigs. I hope we will play a lot in the future and continue this fun experience.
