Welcome to RHYME4RESPECT - The UK Lyrics Challenge!RHYME4RESPECT is a national lyric-writing competition supported by MTV Base, Galaxy Radio, Dubplate Drama and Foot Locker, giving young British MCs, singers, songwriters and rappers the chance to get their words heard by collaborating on a track with established UK stars like AKALA, ESTELLE, TERRI WALKER or US rapper, RHYMEFEST. The only condition is that the lyrics have to teach positive sense about respect for self and others when it comes to sex and relationships.
The competition closed on August 20 and hundreds of you voted for your favourite entries on the official website.
You can still view all the entries at: WWW.RHYME4RESPECT.COM
The final winners have now been chosen by our industry panel from the shortlist created by your online vote and the tracks have all been recorded by the guest stars in conjunction with the winners. Unfortunately Kano who was originally due to be recording a track was unable to take part. There are however 6 amazing tracks featuring ESTELLE, AKALA, RHYMEFEST, TERRI WALKER, LYRACIS, JME, BEARMAN, SINCERE, SCORCHER, BIGZ and NY which will be available free to download soon, starting with the Rhymefest track in December - keep coming back to see where and when they will be available.
THE WINNERS ARE:

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE WINNERS AND THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED - THERE'LL BE ANOTHER CHANCE TO WIN IN 2007!
