AFL, rugby union, rugby league, netball, cricket and tennis. Playing/watching/checking out participants in the above. While I know a hell of a lot about sport, I also enjoy watching good looking blokes get sweaty. Oh and I also like firemen.
Darren Jolly is God's gift to football. Luckily, God is not the type of guy (or gal) to leave only one present under the Christmas tree so he also left us with Jamie Charman, Mitchell Johnson, Cameron Shepherd, Drew Petrie, Andy Roddick, Matthew Pavlich, Mark Chisolm and pretty much any member of the Sydney Swans.I once lined up with a lot of kids in the 6-10yrs bracket to have my photo with Stewie Dew - embarrassing and yet so so worth it. Especially now the number 17 at Port is essentially vacant.
I like anything but I refuse to listen to bullshit Triple J "I'm so cool and alternative" excuses for music. At the moment I am enjoying the Sugababes greatest hits, the new Mick Buble and I hate anything by Mika.
If you haven't seen Transformers then you should get on it. Dance movies. Anything with dancing in it. Anything with dancing and singing. Plus Adam Sandler movies and 'She's the Man', which I have now watched about 80 times after I illegally taped it from Foxtel Box Office.
Will & Grace is easily the best TV show ever - however a late contender is the Robin Hood that was recently shown on ABC and made by BBC. LOVED IT. I can't find anyone else that watched it though... I'm a massive All Saints fan, that's a great show and I have to set the tape each Tuesday while I'm at netball. Other than that I like Ugly Betty, Heroes and the Wed night line up on ABC - Spicks and Specks, Chaser and the Movie Show.I watch a lot of football on the weekends and am very pleased to see footy back on Seven in 07. And there should be more Clinton Grybas on TV.
Too many to mention. My favourite book is James and the Giant Peach and I'm a massive fan of magazine/newspaper reading, especially Allure, Lucky and US InStyle.I like to read one serious book, then a mental junk food kind of book to mix it up. I recently read 'How To Walk in High Heels' and am currently getting through 'The Bourne Ultimatum' by Robert Ludlum before the movie comes out. The original 'Bourne Identity' then you should, easily one of the best books ever and highly recommended.I also have taken a long time stand against reading 'The Da Vinci Code'.
Eddie McGuire and Matt Burke. Eddie has achieved everything through hard work and Burkey is simply the best footy player I have ever seen in any code. And anyone who works or volunteers in the emergency services is a hero.
