Brandon "BMAC" McCullen at age 29, is an entreprenuer, musician, songwriter/producer and Minister of the Gospel. BMAC started dabbling in music at the age of 2. He began banging on any and everything in his parents house in Kansas City with drum sticks. He began playing the drums at church at age 7 and later began writing and singing music at age 14. He later abandoned the singing and stuck with the writing. He later picked up the piano and organ. By 16 he was a regular at the recording studios. He and cousin McCormick Harris III(also a producer in Atlanta) teamed up in 1995 to write their first ever joint called "Rock of My Salvation for a local talent competition. In 1996 his senior year of highschool he had the privelage of singing with Tye Tribbett at a National Convention. This would greatly impact his concept of urban contemporary choir music. He would later go on to form a youth ensemble in his community of Tennessee called Vessels of Honor in which he wrote nearly all of the material in which they performed around the Nashville area. This group also had the privalge of opening up for Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers in 2001 just 2 days after 9/11. He recorded his first live album in 2000 with this choir. The album was never released do to financial set backs. He has recently formed BrandonSpankin Nu/Muzic his production company and is currently writing for Atlanta-based recording artist Rashod B who is on their newly found record label Brown Marren Music. The album is scheduled for release around May. His second live recording "Best Days" is the second release on the label. Look for it sometime next summer. God has great things in store for BMac and company and he is excited about new music ventures.
