This is an issue that needs to be brought to the attention of all americans. If this story and the video effect you please repost this as a bulletin and if possible on your web page so that we can try to bring this to everyones attention.Something you need to read and see!!!I am writing to you because I am hoping you can help. I am outraged by the recent reports and allegations of the Dog Fighting ring Michael Vick has been associated with. As a community we need to take a stand and not support this kind of behavior. We need to force the Atlanta Falcons to suspend Michael Vick, sending the message that cruelty to animals is NOT ACCEPTABLE! I have written to many other community leaders about my disgust and outrage. Pit Bulls are loving companion animals that are being misrepresented in the media as vicious attack dogs. These animals are taught their behavior from the owner, don’t we preach that guns don’t kill people, people kill people? Same thing applies here. Hold the owners responsible for their dogs TAUGHT behavior. Please help the responsible owners of pit bulls put an end to the cruelty that humans bestow upon this loyal animal. They are loving family pets, once called the “nanny dog†because of their love for children. By doing nothing, we are telling our children that dog fighting and illegal gambling are acceptable forms of behavior. I have also written to the leaders of the Atlanta Falcons. The letter I sent to them is contained below.This email is intended for Coach Petrino, Mr. McKay and Mr. Blank. I am writing to you because I am concerned about the morality of QB Michael Vick and the negative reflection his actions have had on the Atlanta Falcons Team. Hundreds of thousands of children and young adults look up to him as a role model and idol and the Atlanta Falcons continue to support his unscrupulous behavior. The latest accusations of the dog fighting ring being run out of a house Michael Vick owns is deplorable. It is also what is contributing to the hysteria already surrounding the Breed Specific Legislation Ban of Pit Bulls. As an advocate to portray the Pit Bull as a loving family pet and companion, I am outraged that anyone especially a public figure could in any way shape or form support the cruelty of dog fighting. Those of us who care about the well being of our children are truly saddened when another member of society finds it acceptable to be cruel to another living creature. What are we demonstrating to them? That it is okay to commit these acts, after all the star QB for the Falcons thinks it is okay.Everyday we are shocked by what we see in the news and the acts that others are capable of committing. Everyday we wonder what will be next and why are children and young adults have no remorse when committing these violent acts. We as a society need to take a stand and say, enough is enough! If you commit a violent crime you will be punished, even if you are a star. That sends a message. I am personally holding you responsible for sending that message about the latest Michael Vick incident. When you watch it, don’t think for a second that this wasn’t happening at Michael Vick’s house.
