WOLFCHANT was founded in August 2003 by LOKHI (v/b), SKAAHL (g), GAAHNT (g) and NORGAHD (d/k/v) in the lower bavarian town called St. Oswald. In May 2005 DERRMOHR joins the Band and GAAHNT took over the Bass Guitar from LOKHI.WOLFCHANT plays EPIC PAGAN METAL with small influences of Blackmetal and Powermetal. In August 2005 WOLFCHANT signed a contact about 3 Albums with the austrian Label CCP-Records.After the self-produced Demo CD The Fangs Of The Southern Death and the EP The Herjan Trilogy WOLFCHANT has launched on 25.11.05 the new album with the title"Bloody Tales From Disgraced Lands.For their songs WOLFCHANT mostly uses tales and legends from the nordic mythology.
