Set Speed Crew

Set Speed Crew was formed in the year 2000 and has become a recognizable Reggae Group in Regina, Saskatchewan. The crew is comprised of three members from Jamaica and one member from Yugoslavia . Since Set Speed Crew started they have performed in various venues using different performance styles such as live band, or pre-recorded instrumentals. Their music is versatile from Dancehall to Cultural Reggae, suitable for various audiences. Also, their performances are more than just singing, they also incorporate the latest Jamaican Reggae dances. Through their innovative approach to introducing Canada to Reggae, Set Speed has broken down many barriers Reggae Artists face in a market where Reggae is non-existent.
Set Speed Crew has performed in many events such as live shows and most notably, Mosaic. This group's message is to share the culture of Reggae Music to Canada and the world and inspire passion in anyone who listens to their music. At the end of the summer Set Speed Crew performed at the 2006 CALGARY INTERNATIONAL REGGAE FESTIVAL with such artists as SUGAR MINOTT, GEORGE NOOKS, MUTABARUKA, RAS GHANDI, IBO AND KINDREAD, TRUTH AND RIGHTS and many more.
