First off, I am not a 105 year old female....the person that made this profile for me must have tasted "eggs and cinnamon" that day. I was born on a military base in Long Beach for 5 bucks in 19??. Moved to San Jose, then to Las Vegas, then back to San Jose, then back to Las Vegas, only to come back to San Jose. I work at a school for.....well let's just say they are troubled kids. I have been making beats on my ASR-10 since 95', Made a four track tape in 98' called BUTTERFLY DISTORTION, in the process of slanging the tape I hooked up with Clever MC and Rise the Troubled Soul as a part of the crew called THA COST. That's when Clever introduced me to Noahdeeakili. I strayed away from Hip Hop for about a year and was the drummer/Bassist/DJ for this alternative band called 629. While I was with the band I was being mentored by this super sick drummer named Roger Bonasera, I learned most of what I know from that doode right there. Later I hooked up with Noahdeeakili again, and what was suppossed to be a double sided e.p. turned into a group called Subliminal Renaissance. The Original members were: Persevere, Tape Master Steph, Jamal Amin Amen, Noahdeeakili, and me....and we were a group for all of one practice. But when the dust settled me and Noah were the only two left, Subren. We later joined Ostrich Head *On a side note, I was not involved with the Grouch diss track, that is the luxury you have when your not piss drunk*, I was also part of the Phonosapiens ep called PHONOSYNTHESIS which featured Defect, Pash a Trunk Specialist, Shamako Noble and Noahdeeakili. I produced a good percentage of the Ostrich Head's second album TOWER OF BABBLE. But due to creative differences I left the group and was involved with SOUL GLO for a short stint. The Soul Glo collective was Masterfaders, 1977, Subren and Sons of Rebellion. After that I helped produce the album CADILLACS AND COCKROACHES which featured Pash a Trunk Specialist, Sam Seven and Noahdeeakili. Right now I am working on my solo album titled YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN which will hopefully be ready this summer. Other than that I'm still paying dues, working with these kids, which was the way I found Mrs. Right......good things come to those who wait........ [email protected]
