I love to make people happy and doing things that make me smile: whether it's cooking dinner for my friends and family, throwing parties, hang out with friends, singing too loudly in the car or shower, listening to music or making music with my pals, playing volleyball, ballroom dancing, dancing silly, playing with power tools or just dorkin' around -- I can pretty much have fun doing anything!
I'd just like to keep in touch with all my friends.
I love music in general. I'll sing along or dance to any song: rock, country, bluegrass, jazz, funk, r&b, soul, musical theatre, bad commercial jingle ... I love Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Paul Simon, the Beatles, Johnny Cash (oh, that voice!) ... Lately I can't get enough Marvin Gaye and Aretha.
I love movies and will watch anything once. A few movies I'll watch over and over include: The Notebook, L.A. Confidential (how can you NOT love this movie)Weird Science (It's a classic), just about any Brat Pack Movie, Hope Floats, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Legally Blonde, Sweet Home Alabama The Davinci Code (even though it deviated from the book which is WAY better), Walk the Line...my new goal is to make it through all of the Godfather Trilogy. Wish me Luck.
Grey's Anatomy, House, Sopranos, Nip Tuck, Gilmore Girls, Big Love, The Office, My Name is Earl, CSI
The Davinci Code, The Notebook, Harry Potter, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, The Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood, The Machiavellian's Guide to Womanizing (HILARIOUS), The Great Gatsby, Mysteries, Romances, books about good friends and growing up, quips and quotes and anatomy text books. Books on the brain fascinate me, too.
Call me cheesey, but my Mom is my idol -- she really is the most sincere, kind, considerate, giving, selfless, nurturing and amazing woman you will ever meet! She is very special; I can't think of a time when I didn't need her in my life and I can't imagine a time I won't.
