My Interests

I'd like to meet:

ANY AND ALL ARTISTS', PRODUCERS' & ENGINEERS' , INTERESTED IN RECORDING & NETWORKING.Unlike alot of "audio engineers" I love tracking more than mixing and mastering. That experience of archiving the first performance and knowing it's capturing a piece of history forever. Today, with such a diverse recording medium, the tracking stage is the only real audible difference captured before entering the common ground of digital processing. I've been fortunate to know alot of great folks who've recorded a whole lotta great music. And I've been fortunate to have started at a time when the 2" 24 track was king. And in that process, from all of them, all the musical genres I listen to, I'll continue to learn, hopefully, for a whole lot longer. I'd like this site to be open to other engineers, artists, producer's, musicians, and of course, my students, for all opinions and thoughts on the subject of recording music....................................................... .......(Shameless Plugs to follow)................................ -Check out KEITHADAMS.COM TRACK -UNCLE WILLIE- It was done a while ago, but was one of my favorites to record and mix(one of the last full albums I recorded and mixed on 2" tape). Check him out at keithadams.com or go to his myspace page to listen. THEMADHOUSEWIVES.COM you can check out some of their tracks from their first album at their website or cdbaby.com.(Still working on the 2nd release) -Also check out SAMHELL.COM for their new CD release and BOX FULL OF CASH for their tracks, on myspace. -Two live shows recorded at Grafittis, one for SAMHELL and another for THE SCREWED are in the can and ready for Steve's yearly Grafittis CD. -Should also mention the live recording here at the studio for SAMHELL on INDIECAN.COM, it came out great, check it out. Thanks Joe. Excellent job! Check out CHRONICADICTIONS new demos. We did 6 quick tracks that can be heard on their myspace page.More Shameless plugs to follow. KENSINGTON AUDIO MEDIA
