BIOGRAPHY
The Beginning of the Jeans...Jeans had its origin in 1994. Paty Sirvent, member and founder, wanted to reunite four friends more: Maria De Los Angeles (Angie), coming from Argentina; Litzy, companion of school, with Tábatha and Bianca. The five girls appeared in the family events, singing songs of La Onda Vaselina, Timbiriche or any group that then outside number one. Mr. Alejandro Sirvent talks (father of Paty) with the young girls thinking about that of that game an interesting proposal could be made musical. The first step was to find a appropriate name for the group. One nitght the girls at a slumber party in house of Paty they began to arise diverse proposals. After saying many names, the commentary arose: Why we do not put Jeans? Who does not use jeans nowadays. And it was as the peculiar and original name arose. And the day arrived in which finally the dream of the youngsters would become a reality. At the end of 1995 Paty, Angie, Litzy and Tábatha, (Bianca took leave of the group) were sent to the United States to record what first production would be his. The girls occur to know with their disc self-titled album Jeans, that contains 11 tracks, of which four would get to be singles. They were signed with EMI Music.Jeans: The first disc…The first success that it presented to them was “Pepe“, who without a doubt put to the grouping in highest of musical means in Mexico. The second single would be “Me Pongo Mis Jeans“, considered like the hymn of the grouping. Later, they released other singles such as “Tal Vez” and “Una Nueva Generacion“, sending themselves in the diverse radio stations of the country.In Jeans always there have been member rotations, and for that reason Litzy and Tábatha would leave and would enter Karla and Melissa. Only Litzy would obtain certain popularity as a solo singer later years later. A record, but still was much to do…That disc they left, like of the previous one, four singles released, but this time they were much more successful. The First in being listened to in the radio was “Enferma De Amor“, that until now is considered by many like the most successful song of Jeans, followed by “Estoy Por El“, and later it occurred to know “La Ilusion Del Primer Amor“, song that obtained several first places in the popularity lists. The single cannot be definitively consolidated the group, because they left in clear that they were a complex grouping musically speaking.: //Tres.Jeans: Pop Underground…Melissa leaves, and enters Regina to replace her. A radical change is shown with the third disc, that showed a total evolution in Jeans. Of this record the first single was “Dime Que Me Amas“, catalogued like pop underground. “Solo Vivo Para Ti“, “Muero Por Ti” and “Escapare Contigo” were the other three singles come off “//: Tr3s.Jeans“, with which the group underwent a time of bumps in spite of sounding in many tracks of dance. Angie leaves the group to become a solo artist and Dulce takes Angie’s place in the group.Cuatro Para Las Cuatro: The best time of the group…After to be ligatures by five years to EMI, one of the best times of the group it arrived with the launching of the disc “Cuatro Para Las Cuatro” (2001), now signed the group with BMG and integrated by Paty, Karla, Regina and Dulce. The four traveled to Spain during two months to record their new material with song writer Jose Ramon Flores. They took advantage of this stage to be united and to know more Dulce, Three singles were released “Entre Azul Y Buenas Noches” “Corazon Confidente” and “Azul” putting the girls in top of the charts and makes this record one of her biggest one to date. Dulce later on decides to separate the group to participate in a soap operas. For that reason, the group decided to send a call through which they would look for a new member.Cuatro Para Las Cuatro: Norteño & Grupera versions…By Regina and Dulce leaving the group, shortly after, Amiel and Valeria, native of Guatemala . Soon they would surprise own and strange with a radical change of style happening to the grupero-norteño sort with the titled EP Maxi-single (2003). It contained " Corazon Confidente" , "Entre Azyl Y Buenas Noches" , " Mensages En Botella" and "Asi Me Gusta “That's the way (I like it)”, as well as a new song: " Como Olvidarte". The USA edition has a total of 11 tracks, re-recording 6 pop songs and the 5 noteño tracks.Ammore! … Maturity, Preparation and Professionalism…In June of 2004 Jeans leaves BMG and signs contract with Univisión Music Group Mexico, and records the production known as Ammore!. First the single titled “Ammore!”. The rest of the tracks are “Loca De Amor“, “En Mala Hora“, “Lentamente“, “A Mil Kilometros“, “Mi mayor preoccupation“, “Tú y yo“, “Twist“, “Cómo duele“, “Te recordaré“, “Lei, lei” and “Bye, bye” with the production of Loris Ceroni.They already count on 4 singles on the radio that was: “Ammore!”, “Loca De Amor”, “Como Duele“ and “En Mala Hora“. Apart from which the album sold more than 50,000 copies and they reached gold.Jeans in 2005 was formed by Paty (Patricia Sirvent Barton/born on June 3 of 1983), Karla (Karla Haydeé Diazleal Arreguin/18 of April of 1984), Amiel (Amiel Tena Hernandez/12 of September of 1983) and Sabrina (Sabrina Rodriguez 28 of October of 1981), arranged to face any artistic challenge that appears to them.Amiel, almost 3 years in the group leaves the group. Her leave of the group is still in doubt because many rumors state she decided to leave the group and s state that it was the management of the group (Sirvents) fired her for no reason, having unconditional affection of fans of the group.Porque Soy Libre …Once Amiel outside of Jeans, the search for a substitute starts. Marcela, a girl that participated in one of the TelCel tours in a mimi contest to sing one of the songs of Jeans, Which was invited by Sabrina.After one period of absence, Paty, Karla. Sabrina and Marcela return to the scene with more recent his single titled “Yo No Te Pido La Luna“, a cover of the legendary actress and Mexican singer Daniela Romo.Album released in July of last year (2006) three singles hit thr radio airplay and were hits on the top charts: “Yo No Te Pido La Luna” “Tu Falso Amor” and “La Mujer Maravilla” their return clearly made they are powerful independent women with lots od sext appeal leaving behind the little girls image.A fresh new start in 2007...Sadly the rumor has confirmed January Sabrina leaves the group, reason being by personal reasons since she has other projects, and apparently this time no longer will there will be a substitution, making them “3” members of Jeans from now on.JEANS 12 Años....2008 - The best is yet to come.By the mid's of 2007, Jeans went to Italy to record their 8th studio album entitled "Jeans 12 Años" celebrating their 12 years in the music industry. This time they re-recorded all their hits and with new sounds. They also recorded 2 new singles "Lo Que Siento" for mostly for Latin America market and "Porque Te Vas" for the European market. Making this album one of the best JEANS has recorded. By the end of 2007 they came back with their new single "La Ilusion Del Primer Amor" newly re-recorded.
