SINGER/SONGWRITER/VOCAL TUTORSamantha has been a professional and dedicated vocalist since she discovered her natural talents at the tender age of thirteen. Enhanced with four years of intense vocal training with Geraldine Conner. Samantha has and still is passing on her skills to both up and coming and established artists, such as the well known Peter Andre. In 1999 Samantha Scott decided to make her teaching ability official by completing a course as Thames Valley University called The Art of Teaching Singing. The Syllabus covered a variety of topics such as: Aural perception/sight singing, Anatomy and Physiology Languages of singing, phonetics, accent method and many more which gave her even more knowledge.Her first working experiences were with the Caribbean Choir who performed in the Channel 4 series Behaving Badly starring Dame Judy Dench. She then moved on to the chorus line the musical King at The King Edward Theatre. A European tour ensued with Samantha as a backing vocalist for B.B.G. supporting Rebel M.C., The Brand New Heavies and De La Soul in Great Britain.From December 2004-April 2006 Samantha was a part of Boney M, travelling to various parts of the world frequently e.g. Russia, Sweden, Beirut, Mumbai and many more. Samantha recently left to concentrate on promoting her career which was a decision made after some thought. Samanthas most recent released work to mention a few has been backing vocals for Sir Cliff Richard on the song Santas List and has recently worked with The Streets on their UK tour which involved working for Top of The Pops, The Album Chart Show on Channel 4 and the Big Weekend Charity Event at Dundee for BBC Radio 1.Samantha has been featured on many projects, not only as a lead and backing vocalist but also as a vocal arranger on stage, studio and television, involving the following artist such as: Edwin Starr, The Streets, Dannii Manouge, China Black, Peter Andre, Baby D, Omar, Gwen Dicky, Alexander ONeal, Sir Cliff Richard, Mark Morrison, The Weather Girls, Dina Carroll, Euwan McGregor (from train spotting) Samantha has worked with many, too much to mention, gaining experience from all.Samanthas first release, entitled In Love For The Very First Time established her on the vinyl platform and became power play on Jazz FM, Moving on to collaborate with Production House Records, she wrote and recorded the single Love Ride. This second track caused a stir amongst radio stations, especially Choice FM but her third release In The Mood created even more of a stir, not only in regional places like Huddersfield, Bradford and Leicester but also in London, being played on Kiss FM, Choice FM and Radio 1 FM. Samantha was then signed to Ministry of Sounds in 1996 fronting Yojo Working which made two songs, titled I Believed and Hold On, Reaching the National Charts just below Top 40 with. This followed on with her own European Tour, leading into another opportunity to be signed to Sony for a one off Single deal to front a group called Melt Down.At present Samantha has almost finished writing her new album with top producers: Derrick Taylor, Chris Robinson, Ronny Wilson, Wayne Hernandez and Rick Mitre.Samantha has a song off her new album titled Dont Turn Away which she co wrote to donate to three charities that sponsor children and homeless people. After giving some thought to this she has decided that they will be the following charities: The Big Issue, Active Foundation and Children In Need. Another song off the album entitled Wild Child is a song that Samantha will also give a percentage of record sales to charity. Samantha would like to donate to a charity to do with over or under active thyroids and a mental health charity.Samantha is also a private and commercial Vocal Tutor who works for a high school named Capital City and is also a Vocal Tutor/Youth Worker for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea working with young people aged 11-21.Samanthas dream one day will be to open a performing arts school for children of all backgrounds, where they can fulfil their dreams with an education that will take them throughout their career and hopefully life in general.Samantha has built up a clientele over the years and is always in demand for session Work but as you can see, is always on the move looking for what she can achieve next.
