About Me


Almost 30 years ago, Rik was born in the City of Berlin. There he played basketball since the age of 10. His passion for music especially hip hop begun. With the age of 18 he finally could go in the clubs and to concerts. More and more he watched other dj’s working and he got more and more interested in “that dj –thing”.
1999 he bought his first own mixer and 2 turntables. Since than he practised every day hours and hours, listened to mixtapes of other dj’s to try it on his own over and over again. During the years he developed his own style. Because of the higher getting success and the different bookings in a lot of clubs in Berlin DJ RIK got better and better on the “wheelz of steelz”.
2005 DJ Rik tried to get more jobs outside of Berlin to get the party started. He played in a lot of different clubs in Germany and the crowd loved his skillz and partied as hard as in gets.
DJ Rik’s mixtape series “shake ya body” 1 and 2 were produced in 2005. In 2006 he got more into the dirty south and crunk music which made him produce the 3’rd mixtape “the combat”. From there on the clubs in Germany started to book him also for only Dirty South Parties.
You will find DJ Rik in some booking agencies such as boogie down berlin, heavyrotation, wild 13.
To become more successful and live his passion DJ Rik now wants to find his way towards the foreign countries…….
