hello everyone the summers here and we have some excellent gigs lined up for you.
first to kick off is the skem fest on the 21st of july here's just a few of the bands that are appearing the hicks, the black jackals, silverchild, samuel sharp and audio pilot.next up on the 29th of july its back to the buffs which could prove to be one of the best gigs of the year with the fantastic shaughnessy setting the standards for local music. a guest appearance from sean taylor fresh from glastonbury. also introducing jesus in india for their first gig with the music projectand lastly but certainly not least the 26th of august at the buffs we have an electronica extravaganza with the seamless EGOD downsizing their massive set to show us their stuff some said it couldnt be done but its amazing what you can do with a bit of washing up liquid and a crow bar. other guests t.b.aAlso i would like to ask if there are any bands in skem who would interested in rehearsal space based in skem. the reason i ask is a couple of local entrepreneurs want to setup some rehearsal rooms they have a property in mind and funds in place to make this happen but they need to know if this is something which local musicians would support. it would cost around the same as other similar venues in liverpool and wigan and some storage space may also be available. if any of this interested you give me an email at
