Isn't it enough to know I ruined a pony making a gift for you?

About Me

Mother of two awesome monkeys, ages 10 and 7. Happily married to the love of my life. Busy IT girl at large. That's "Information Technology", not "It", although I've been known to be the "It" girl, at times. Sometimes. Alright, frequently - but we won't be discussing that. Not ever. Fledgling artist. Geeky but personable; cute, but cranky.

My Interests

My kids. Learning. People. Painting. Tropical fish. Gaming. Nerdery. Reading. Cooking. Kitchenery. Music. Understanding. Body modification, specifically tattooing. Road trips. Geeks. Humor. Growth.

I'd like to meet:

Um, nobody, really. I'm just here for the food.

Music:

Yes, please, and lots of it. Jonathan Coulton, Gillian Welch, Shatner, Old Crow Medicine Show, Grant Lee Buffalo, Tenacious D, Ben Folds, John Legend, Elton John, Crowded House, Heart, The Who, Billy Joel, Polyphonic Spree, Velvet Revolver, Queen, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, ELO, Cake, The Beatles, Carole King, James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, Iggy Pop, Leonard Cohen, Motorhead, Peter Frampton, Shinedown, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Ted Nugent, Anthrax, Public Enemy, Elvis, Deep Purple, Zeppelin, The Cars, Janis Joplin... See what happens when you get me started? Which makes me think "Start Me Up", so now I have to say 'Rolling Stones', too...

Movies:

I'm compelled to watch Armageddon whenever it happens to be on television. I consider this a personal failing, and my secret shame. And now, look at me, I've gone and blurted it out on myspace for crap's sake. I'm really bad at picking "favorites", so how about I just say "I really like Pixar movies", but not so much because of the movies, really, but the kickass graphics.

Television:

Good Eats, Buffy, Angel, House, CSI (but not NY), NCIS, American Idol (really, I don't want to hear it), Top Chef, any true crime forensics show you've got, eg Cold Case Files, Forensic Files, The First 48, American Justice.

Books:

I like to read. I read a lot, and I just finished with that "Music" list up there, which means I'm just plum tuckered out with all this list business. Let's just rest assured in the knowledge that if I can have my nose in a book, I'll have my nose in a book, shall we? Good? Good.

Heroes:

My children.Boy howdy am I cheesy, but it's the truth.
