About Me

in the modern midwest, a small town throws a victorian parade...two lovers meet for a secret tryst...and a wronged clown plots revenge. their threads weave together in FORWARD YE MARCH, a comedy about love, history, parades -- and other things that can pass you by.
leo: late 20s/early 30s. clean-cut, handsome, and romantic. also insecure and needy: he married young and now its on the rocks. his affair may give him reprieve from his unhappiness, or it may give him an excuse for it.
doctor oswald wonderful: late 30s/early 40s. a clown who dresses as a foppish Victorian doctor. intelligent and oddly self-serious for a clown, his dismissal from the festival has left him disillusioned, unstable, and petty.
stace: mid 40s. a sturdy, practical, midwestern single mother who works as a bartender at the local pub. a bemused sounding board for her patrons...but she's never had a patron like oswald before.
charlotte: late 20s. always the bridesmaid, never the bride: charlotte is attractive, lonely, and entirely devoted to a man whos already married. she's vulnerable in her unrequited love -- but by now, shes also resigned to it.
